ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

 

CJPR is actively seeking a results-driven Account Executive to join their team remotely, primarily servicing clients within the restaurant industry.

 

The Account Executive plays a key part in supporting account teams in the execution of strategic PR programs with a heavy focus on media relations.

 

Sample Responsibilities 

  • Writing media materials such as press releases, media advisories, professional bios, blog posts and newsletters

  • Developing and nurturing strong relationships with media; actively pursuing proactive and reactive media opportunities for clients

  • Performing administration tasks including preparing client status meeting agendas, participating in client Zoom meetings, diligent note taking, media tracking and media coverage reporting

  • Proactively generating ideas and opportunities for clients that achieve and exceed goals

  • Responding to client and media requests for information in a timely and professional manner

 

You

  • Have a pulse on the broader marketplace and a passion for storytelling

  • Demonstrate the ability to conceptualize media-worthy storylines both independently and in brainstorms

  • Work well both independently and collaboratively with a team

  • Demonstrate excellent communication and written skills

  • Are deadline-driven and work with a sense of urgency

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

  • 1-3 years of post-college experience in a PR role (agency experience preferred, but not required)

  • Passion for the food and beverage industry; experience in the industry is a plus!
