Fall Food for the Soul

Updated: Nov 28, 2020

One of the best things about fall is the food. Hands down.

Of course, it’s wonderful getting together with loved ones; catching up, telling stories, general merriment—but I think we’d all be lying if we said we weren't also eyeing the Pumpkin Cheesecake from across the room.

Whether you're hosting friends for a cozy wine night or attending a Friendsgiving pot-luck, here are some of our favorite seasonal recipe picks that are sure to impress everyone at the table all autumn long! Protip: wear your stretchy pants.

Seasonal Sangria With a myriad of holiday flavors, this cocktail pulls out all the stops.

Apple Cider Old Fashioned A seasonal spin on a comforting classic, there's nothing stuffy about this updated twist!

3-Ingredient Pomegranate Ginger Smash Quick, easy, and festive. Check, check, and check.

Appetizers & hors d'oeuvres

Salty, sweet, creamy, and crispy. *chefs kiss*

Holiday Nuts Perfect for elevating a charcuterie board, delicious enough to stand on its own.

Brie, Apple, & Honey Crostini Baked brie and baguette?! Name a more iconic duo. I’ll wait.

Side Dishes

Broccoli Slaw If there has to be something green on the table, it might as well be covered in a buttermilk dressing.

Crispy Sweet Potato Roast A savory pivot from the traditional sweet potato and marshmallow casserole.

Fresh Cranberry Sauce No shade to the stuff that comes in a can, but this recipe might convert you to a fresh cranberry purist.

Herb & Butter Roasted Turkey A fail-safe main attraction.

Butternut Squash & Sage Lasagna Adapted from a Martha Stewart recipe, but with no-cook noodles because *convenience*

Cauliflower Steak Certainly different. Definitely delicious. This one is for our vegan friends or those who, perhaps, just want to try something new.

Sweet Finales

Slice n’ Bake Salted Chocolate Butter Pecan Cookies I mean…you had us at "salt" and "chocolate" in the same sentence!

*drools quietly*
