2020 has been a tough year...to say the least.
We are all still absorbing the past several months and are likely to be unpacking it, in a multitude of ways, for the foreseeable future.
The challenges of this shared hardship have been numerous. Most of us have not hugged, let alone seen, our loved ones in months and have dealt with feelings of loss and isolation. Even with the job market starting to open back up, many people are still struggling to find work. If you were lucky enough to keep your job throughout this ordeal, maybe there have been difficulties with working from home (I'm looking at you, communal work desk).
You’re not alone. We see you.
Life is demanding, even without a pandemic to add to the pile. It’s normal to fluctuate between relief, guilt, happiness, fear, gratitude, sadness, and everything in between. While each person's circumstances are uniquely different, it’s still your experience and you’re entitled to feel however you need to feel and handle it in whatever way brings you comfort.
The unknown of it all can be daunting, but one thing is certain: nothing is permanent. Things will change. Remember to be kind to yourself.
You’re doing the best you can with what you’ve got and that’s enough. And in the meantime, here's a virtual hug from us, to you.
Warmly,
The CJPR Family.
