Fall is finally upon us! The weather is starting to get cooler, and with cool weather comes warm comfort foods and desserts. I don’t know about you, but I’ve been waiting for what feels like forever for this time of year to arrive! So, let’s toast the autumn season with apple cider as I tell you about some of my favorite fall desserts!
I decided to start us off with a classic, because Cinnamon Apple Crisp is always a fan favorite. You can’t go wrong with this gooey, cinnamony dessert, and you can’t fully enjoy it without a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream on top!
Growing up, my grandmother would always make pumpkin bread during the holiday seasons, and it was one of my favorite fall treats! I found this recipe that should give you the same warm and fuzzy feeling it always gives me when I eat it. (Pro Tip: throw in some chocolate chips or walnuts if you want to spice it up!)
I wanted to include a couple of recipes that don’t have apple or pumpkin in them, because there are so many different fall flavors that are just as delicious, but don’t get the love they deserve. This Butterscotch Bundt Cake sounds absolutely amazing, and I will definitely be trying it out his year!
One of my favorite sides on the Thanksgiving table is always the cranberry sauce; I put it on EVERYTHING. While I wait another month to enjoy it, I just might make this delicious recipe for Cranberry Coffee Cake. I love any kind of coffee cake, but I have never made this version of it… what a great idea!
I hope at least one of these desserts caught your eye, and you consider making it this cozy season! Nothing beats turning on the Hallmark Channel on a lazy Sunday and filling the house with delicious autumn smells as you whip up one of these indulgent desserts. It can be a wonderful stress reliever, and you get to eat your reward! Happy baking!
